Forest Edge School is an independent specialist provider of education on the Isle of Wight, for children aged from 11-16 who have a range of severe or complex needs arising from life trauma, Autistic Spectrum Conditions (ASC), attachment disorder or a phobia of education.
We are part of New Forest Care Education, a provider of care and education services for young people and adults. The school is registered with the DfE and provides places for boys and girls up to Year 11 from the Isle of Wight.

Our School
Small, nurturing setting designed for children who need a different approach to learning.
Our school is set in a commercial industrial building, which on the outside, definitely doesn’t look school-like. On the inside, it is welcoming and friendly, with a common open room area, and relaxed but well resourced classrooms that are set out in such a way as to inspire young people to want to come in and engage.
