Curriculum Intent
Art and Design are vital components of a broad and balanced curriculum. They provide a unique opportunity for all young people to express themselves, communicate visually, and explore their ideas, thoughts, and emotions. Art encourages imagination, experimentation, and decision-making. It nurtures self-confidence and builds resilience, particularly in young people who may find verbal communication more challenging.
