We’ve had a very busy few days welcoming some new additions to the farm!
Patch farrowed on 25th September, giving birth to 8 healthy piglets, all of whom have survived and are doing well.
Penny followed on Sunday 27th September, also welcoming 8 healthy piglets, who are all doing well.
And the morning of 29th September, we welcomed a beautiful female Highland calf.
We are hoping our new calf can attend agricultural shows in the future, giving our students the opportunity to help get them ready and may be enter the show ring!
Our farm gives our students fantastic opportunities to get involved and gain hands-on experience with our new arrivals and learn more about livestock, breeding and farm life.
And there are more calves to come!
